About the author
S.B. Divya is a lover of science, maths and fiction. She is the Nebula Award–nominated author of Runtime (2016), and co-editor of the Hugo Award–nominated science-fiction podcast Escape Pod, with Mur Lafferty (2018). Her short stories have been published in various magazines, including Analog, Uncanny and, and her writing also appears in the indie game Rogue Wizards. She holds degrees in computational neuroscience and signal processing, and she worked for twenty years as an electrical engineer before becoming an author. She enjoys subverting expectations and breaking stereotypes whenever she can.
