Penguin to release Ramdev’s autobiography ‘My Life, My Mission’

New Delhi: Penguin Random House India has announced the publication of the official autobiography of yoga maestro and spiritual guru Swami Ramdev, titled My Life, My Mission. Written along with senior journalist Uday Mahurkar, this is a one of its kind personal narrative of the life and times of the globally renowned yoga teacher. The book is due to release in August 2019 and is already available for pre-order on e-commerce websites.

A gripping tell-all about one of the most successful household names in India, My Life, My Mission addresses the major controversies, turning points and achievements of Swami Ramdev’s life. In this book, Swami Ramdev chronicles his life along with co-author Uday Mahurkar and tells readers about his journey from a small village in Haryana to the international stage.

This autobiographical account uncovers the trials, tribulations and triumphs of his life and provides insights into his childhood, his passion for yoga and good health, his friends and foes, and the Swadeshi campaign he spearheaded. A story of transforming a vision into a reality, it also highlights the journey Swami Ramdev’s venture, Patanjali Group of Institutions, to becoming a multibillion corporation and is considered one of the fastest growing company in FMCG in India with a turnover of about Rs 12,000 crores.
